Modern Jazz 【Charlie Christian】

From Today, I want to start to read this book about modern jazz.

I have never learned musical history except for classical music.

Although I like heavy metal music, my knowledge about it is sporadic.

But, I understand the essence of heavy metal music, so I thought that I need to learn music other than it.

So, I want to listen to modern jazz music in chronicling way by using this book.

I don't have knowledge about jazz at all.

So, at first, I should be a listener.

Today, I read this book and began to know about Charlie Christian.

He is regarded as the one of the greatest jazz guitarist.

So, I listened to his song.

Although I don't understand jazz yet, I understood that his style was revolution to the previous jazz world.

In the book, it was written that he was the important jazz man who expresses the essence of BOP into swing jazz and Kansas City Jazz.

Form the point of view of history of jazz, what is the mainstream of jazz is Kansus City Jazz and it leads the way to BOP.
