How to cope with the thinking of all or nothing "Zero Hyaku thinking"

In Japanese, we call the thinking that goes to extreme as "Zero hyaku thinking".

It means the person's thinking which has all or nothing in their mind.

It is usually used in the negative context.

It is accepted that to have it is to have tendency to make mistake in several phases because of extreme way of thinking.

But, I think that this "Zero hyaku thinking" has the merit to use if you use it in the good way.

When you make the decision, it needs to have this way of thinking.

When you have something to make decision, you are the person who can't care about other possibilities.

I think that in real life, we should make most of this way of thinking in order to make action.

But, when you keep on doing the thing decided by you, obstacle may  have a possibility to emerge.

In that case, to keep on having "Zero Hyaku thinking" means that you can't move forward because you persist on the thing and don't think about another way.

So, I thought that "Zero Hyaku thinking" will do well when you make action.

But, it will not be useful when you discover the obstacle and want to overcome it by moving forward.
