Study: The gap between society

 The income gap between college and high school graduates is spread more than decades ago.

The progress of technological innovation like automation and artificial intelligence reduces the number of works which needs to have expertise.

By automation, low income work decreases and income of the low and middle bracket doesn't extend. It leads us to cut work itself.

There are plenty of college graduates who can't find a high-valued well-paying jov because of the lack of new jobs.

Paul Beaudry, who is the Canadian Economist, surveyed the use of cognitive skills of the clerks on workplace. 

Provided that use of it as 100 in 1990s, it soared to 103 until 2000, but it have plummeted to 99 in 2011.

It had been required for clerks to have high abilities until 2000 because infrastructure of IT had not been introduced in those days.

But, once it was done, the needs to have those who have high skills have been decreased.

Those who have high educational backgrounds have become to engage with the job which does not need to have the full utilization of their skills.

That leads them to be low income brackets.

"The work of white collar work has become meaningless thing" was insisted by David Graeber, who is the anthropologist.

He said that the reason why such a meaningless work exist is because managers was absorbed in the managerial feudalism and want to increase their flunkies.

One of the reason why there are few highly-valued well-paying jobs is in a winner-takes-all situation.

It means that a few number of people on the top of each fields tend to have no high incomes. Even in domestic area, the areal winners takes the highly-valued well-paying jobs.

Originally, education is regarded as the measures of the great equalizer of society and it enables those who live in the poverty line have the affluent future.

But, recently, it has had apprehension that only son of high brackets can have the good education and there is no class mobility.

15 percent of Harvard University's first-year students is ranked in the top 1 percent income bracket.

The son of the high income family can enter famous university and have high tendency to engage with high income jobs.

As a result, the low and middle income bracket have difficulty to step up to high income brackets.

It can be said that the gaps is fixed permanently.
